Private label oils and emulsions
Liquid oils and emulsions carry omega-3 and fat-soluble vitamins in a spoonful instead of several capsules. Vita Liquids develops and fills private label oils and emulsions in Slovenia for brands across Europe. Production opens in 2027.

Where oils and emulsions work best
- Omega-3 doses that would take several softgels
- Vegan omega-3 from algal oil
- Fat-soluble vitamins in their natural carrier
- Emulsions that taste milder than pure oil, for children and families
What to plan for
- Oils oxidise: raw material quality, antioxidants, nitrogen and cool storage all matter
- Fish taste is masked with flavour, usually lemon or orange
- An opened bottle is usually kept in the fridge and used within weeks
- Emulsions need an emulsifier system and their own stability testing

Questions
Oils and emulsions: what brands ask
- How do you keep omega-3 oil fresh?
- By choosing low-oxidation raw materials, adding antioxidants, filling amber bottles under nitrogen and testing oxidation over the shelf life. The label states how to store the bottle once opened.
- Will it taste of fish?
- A good oil with the right flavour tastes mild. Lemon and orange are the usual choices, and an emulsion softens the taste further.
- Can you make vegan omega-3?
- Yes, from algal oil, which carries EPA and DHA without fish.
- What is the difference between an oil and an emulsion?
- An oil is the pure fat with its actives. An emulsion disperses the oil in water with an emulsifier, which makes it creamier and milder, and easier for children to take.
- When can production start?
- The Vita Liquids line opens for production in 2027. You can reserve a slot now: we develop the formula and samples beforehand, so your first batch can run as soon as the line opens.
- What is the minimum order?
- It is set per product by the bottle or pack, the closure and the formula, and confirmed in your quote. Tell us the quantity you expect and we will say what is possible.
