A drinkable shot is a single-serve supplement drink that delivers a full daily dose in one swallow. Vita Liquids develops and fills private label shots in Slovenia for brands across Europe, from the formula and flavour to the labelled, boxed shot. Production opens in 2027.

Drinkable shots: what brands ask
- How much active ingredient fits in a shot?
- Several grams in 25–60 ml, depending on how soluble the ingredient is and how it tastes at that dose. Collagen peptides dissolve well, which is why collagen is the most common shot.
- Do shots need preservatives?
- A water-based shot has to be protected, either with a preservative system or through the process. We choose the route per formula, test it for stability, and set the shelf life on the label from those results.
- Can shots be sugar-free?
- Yes. The sweetener and flavour system is developed for each product, including sugar-reduced and sugar-free versions.
- Can I bring my own recipe?
- Yes. Send the formula you have in mind, or the benefit and dose you want, and we develop the shot with you: actives, flavour, sweetness and pack.
- Which health claims can a shot carry?
- Only claims authorised in the EU register. Collagen and hyaluronic acid have no authorised claim, so a collagen shot usually carries claims from its vitamins, such as vitamin C contributing to normal collagen formation.
- When can production start?
- The Vita Liquids line opens for production in 2027. You can reserve a slot now: we develop the formula and samples beforehand, so your first batch can run as soon as the line opens.
- What is the minimum order?
- It is set per product by the bottle or pack, the closure and the formula, and confirmed in your quote. Tell us the quantity you expect and we will say what is possible.
